1. Commission

The Caritas Europa Migration Commission is composed of 9 migration experts from our member organisations. They all work in and have considerable experience in the field of migration in their respective countries.  The Migration Commission members are nominated individually and do not represent their organisation. The Caritas Europa Executive Board ensures that there is a balanced representation of the diversity of the network within the overall Commission composition.

The Commission is responsible for the creation, implementation and monitoring of the realisation of mid-term and annual Caritas Europa work plans on Migration, asylum, integration and anti-trafficking. 

 

2. Desk Officers

Caritas Europa's Migration Desk Officers are based at the Secretariat in Brussels and support the work of the Migration Commission. The Secretariat ensures that there is a cohesion between the work of the Commission for the specific priority and the work of the Commissions in other priority areas. The Secretariat will also act, when appropriate, as resource personal to the Commission especially with regard to collecting and sharing of information on the European level.
